Karen Malone Wright blends proven expertise in traditional public relations with a passion for new media and the unending potential of the Internet. Her insights and ideas spring from a notable career directing communications in diverse sectors: philanthropy, health care, and broadcast and print media in Cleveland, Detroit and Washington, D.C.

Karen is increasingly recognized as a resource for organizations and individuals looking to understand the core concepts behind social computing, As President of ODYSSEY Creative Communications Consulting, she joins in-house teams to craft out-of-the-box strategies for applying and evaluating these new digital tools.  Group, one-to-one and executive coaching is also available.

Readers of Karen’s blog, communications goddess.net learn and laugh about the diverse ways people communicate today, from Skype to still photography.  Karen is also the author of Web 2.0: Time Well Spent, an e-guide to social media and online applications. Her work has been honored with a national Telly Award and recognitions from the Catholic Hospital Association and the Cleveland Advertising Club.

A Cleveland native, Karen is currently a Mindspring Expert for Northeast Ohio’s Council on Smaller Enterprises (COSE).  She is a member of the Cleveland Social Media Club and the Independent Practitioners Group.  She is the Immediate Past President of the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland Board of Directors.

Lynne Adrine

Lynne is a media consultant, strategist and career coach, providing services through her company, LKA Strategies. Her clients include communications executives, non-profits and other media professionals.

Previous to launching LKA Strategies, Lynne spent 16 years at ABC News in Washington, where her assignments included Senior Producer for Weekend News and Washington coordinator for ABCNews.com. She also has worked for NBC and CBS News, as well as the network affiliated stations in Washington.

Since 2005, Lynne has worked with Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications’ graduate Washington reporting seminar, serving as News Editor. She also works with graduate students at Boston University’s Washington Center.

Affiliated with the Poynter Institute for Media Studies since 1996, Lynne was selected in 2001 as one of 16 Fellows in the Institute’s inaugural year-long program on Journalism Ethics. She is recipient of a Peabody and a duPont award for her participation in ABC News coverage of the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon.
